Project Manager / Delivery Lead – Prime & Clearing

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

Our client, a global financial institution, is seeking a highly capable Project Manager / Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of initiatives within the Prime & Clearing technology program. This role requires a strong background in Agile project delivery, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination, ideally within capital markets or post-trade environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Delivery Management

• - Own and manage the delivery of projects under the Prime & Clearing program.
• - Develop and maintain delivery plans, backlogs, and sprint objectives in line with Agile methodologies.
• - Track and report on milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• - Set up and manage project governance structures, ensuring timely and quality updates to stakeholders.
• - Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize work and maximize business value.
• - Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of objectives and removing delivery blockers.
• - Provide oversight and support to other Project Managers within the program.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• - Build and maintain strong relationships with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
• - Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure alignment on goals and expectations.

Risk & Issue Management

• - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and issues.
• - Quantify impacts of changes and escalate appropriately to governance forums.
• - Support consistent, high-quality change releases with zero tolerance for failed or emergency deployments.

Governance & Compliance

• - Ensure adherence to the Bank’s project, Agile, delivery, and vendor governance frameworks.
• - Maintain compliance with regulatory and conduct standards, contributing to a culture of accountability and excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• - Proven experience in project or delivery management within financial services, ideally in Prime Services, Clearing, or Post-Trade domains.
• - Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• - Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• - Familiarity with trading platforms, clearing workflows, and regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank) is a plus.
• - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery in complex, fast-paced environments.
