For our client, a dynamic player in the global energy sector, we are seeking a Data Analyst to be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making.

This role focuses on improving efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring data-driven insights for vendor management and contract negotiations.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from various resources (ERP, supplier databases, etc.).
  • To build the intelligence system connected with supplier portal and that should include In-house vendor data.
  • Develop dashboard, reports, and visualizations to provide into performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance data processes.


Technical Skills:


  • Data Analytics & Visualization (MS Excel).
  • Databases & SQL (SWL, MS Database, Oracle).
  • ERP Systems (SAP, MS Navision, Oracle).
  • Programming (C++, Python).
  • Automation & Scripting.
  • Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Demand forecasting models, trend analysis.
  • Financial & Procurement Metrics: Cost analysis, supplier performance evaluation, spend analytics.


Abilities


  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong English writing skills for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire life cycle of designing and implementing data systems,.
  • Analytical Thinking - to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail - by ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Problem-Solving: - identifying inefficiencies and improving processes.
  • Communication - presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration - working with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, IT, and vendors.
  • Time Management – able to handle multiple projects and meeting deadlines.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience data analysis.
  • Experience working with AVEVA Supplier Portal is an advantage but not a pre.
  • Experience working with procurement systems (SAM, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in spend analysis, supplier performance evaluation, or procurement reporting is an advantage.


This is a 9-month assignment with the possibility for prolongation.


Candidates should be Netherlands based with the requisite work permissions.
