Technical Product Manager (Hybrid, Riga, LV)

Responsibilities

  • Help sales evaluate technical specifications & tenders and provide feedback on feasibility.
  • Define product configurations for projects and support sales in positioning solutions.
  • Conduct product training and onboarding for partners.
  • Provide strategic input for the R&D roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.

Required Skills

Hardware Knowledge:

  • Embedded Systems & Electronics - Basic understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and industrial electronics.
  • Networking & IoT - Familiarity with LAN, WiFi, 4G/5G connectivity in embedded devices.
  • Parking Hardware (optional) - Experience with ANPR cameras, paystations, barriers, and inductive loops.
  • Manufacturing & Assembly (optional) - Knowledge of the production and installation of hardware components.

Software & Systems Knowledge

  • Embedded Software & Firmware - Not coding, but understanding of Windows-based systems, firmware updates, and debugging.
  • Cloud Integrations - Experience with cloud-based parking management software.
  • APIs & Communication Protocols - Understanding of RS485, MQTT, Modbus, and TCP/IP for system integrations.

Business & Management Skills

  • Project Coordination - Collaborating with R&D, service, and operations teams.
  • Customer Communication - Explaining technical details in simple terms to non-technical partners.
  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting - Quickly diagnosing hardware/software integration issues.
