POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced HR Generalist, Senior Analyst, to join our Singapore office. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support for all Singapore employees, while also supporting the administration for compensation and benefits for the executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and have a strong grasp of Singapore's labor laws, compensation benchmarking, and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Business Partnering
- Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, grievances, and offboarding.
- Act as a key HR partner to employees on HR policies, employee engagement, and career development.
- Maintain and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook in compliance with Singapore labor laws and company values.
- Manage employee relations cases with sensitivity, discretion, and fairness.
- Support implementation of L&D programs and track training effectiveness.
- Lead employee wellness, culture, and engagement initiatives in alignment with regional HR goals.
2. Payroll Administration
- Run monthly payroll processing for all Singapore employees, including executive payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Liaise with vendors and internal finance team on monthly submissions, statutory payments (CPF, IRAS, SDL), and reconciliations.
- Manage year-end tax filing (IR8A, IR21) and ensure compliance with all local payroll and tax regulations.
- Handle variable payments (bonuses, commissions), overtime, and allowances in payroll.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure confidentiality of payroll data.
- Support audits and internal controls relating to payroll and statutory submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in Oracle HRM
3. Executive Compensation & Benefits
- Support the administration of executive compensation packages, including base salary, allowances, bonuses, and long-term incentive plans.
- Administer executive benefits including medical, insurance, wellness, car allowances, and expat-related benefits.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance policies, tax laws, and executive compensation disclosure requirements (where applicable).
- Maintain strict confidentiality on executive compensation & benefits matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2+ years in payroll processing (Singapore-specific) and 1+ years handling or supporting executive compensation and benefits.
- Familiarity with multi-country payroll and expatriate pay is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor legislation, CPF, IRAS tax filing, and MOM guidelines.
- Proficient in payroll systems (e.g., ADP or similar).
- Proficient Excel and analytical skills
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable liaising with senior executives.
