Digital Identity and Trust Framework Specialist

We are currently seeking a Digital Identity and Trust Framework Specialist with extensive experience in decentralized identity solutions and regulatory frameworks to support a prestigious European Institution in Brussels. 🔍🇪🇺

🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and oversee the implementation of trust frameworks aligned with eIDAS, EBSI and SSI principles;
• Integrate decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials into secure digital identity systems;
• Validate cryptographic mechanisms including PKI and zero-knowledge proofs for secure identity verification;
• Define and enforce identity governance policies ensuring regulatory compliance and strong security.

📝 REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in digital identity and trust framework roles;
• Deep knowledge of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), DIDs, and verifiable credentials;
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols (PKI, ZKPs, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML);
• Experience with blockchain or DLT-based identity solutions;
• University degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or relevant fields;
• Fluency in English (C1);
• Ability to work in multicultural and international settings.

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence at the Brussels office only 1 day per week. 📍
