Snr WPT & Al Fikr Consultant

Job Purpose: Support , Analyze, design, develop/build, test and deploy petrolume engineering Well Planning Tool and AL Fikr applications on .Net platform from conception stage to deployment.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computing or Science with no less than six (6) years of experience in application development and system engineering, with hands-on experience in .NET platform application development over the last two (2) years.
• Proven development experience in WPT and Al Fikr applications, contributing to the customization, integration, and optimization of these solutions to enhance business operations in the upstream sector.
• Strong understanding of petroleum engineering principles, including well planning and field development workflows, facilitating the development of tailored solutions that support efficient field operations.
• Good understanding of Software Development Methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum; familiarity with DevOps concepts is an advantage.
• Experienced in using project management tools such as MS Project and MS Office for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
• Possesses leadership experience, is a self-starter, customer-focused, and demonstrates strong analytical and conceptual thinking. Known for attention to detail and the ability to quickly grasp new technical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving.
• Excellent problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution skills, ensuring high-quality solutions and minimal disruption to project timelines.
