We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer proficient in the MERN stack to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You’ll be responsible for both client-side and server-side logic, contributing across the full development lifecycle.
Candidates must be located in BC.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
- Build responsive front-end interfaces using React.js
- Model and manage data using MongoDB (Mongoose)
- Optimize application performance and user experience
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers
- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Heroku)
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ES6+
- Experience with React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Git, REST APIs, and JSON
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Bonus: CI/CD experience and containerization (Docker)
