Golang Developer

Toronto – Hybrid, in office 2-3 times per week most likely Wed & Thursday and Friday in near future.

NB: **40 hours per week**

ASAP Contract Duration: 9 months- Yes for extension and conversion

Interview: 2 interviews

1 hands on test - online - need to share camera and screen - 1 hr 2nd cultural fit - HM and Senior developer - MS Teams - 30min - 1hr

Project: Multiple projects related to payments transformation and cloud migration. Looking for 5 Golang Developers with hands on experience on Go Development and designing applications using Event driven architecture.

Job Description:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner • Ability to contribute to operational, tactical and strategic planning.

•Attending agile ceremonies as needed

•Comfortable Producing technical documentation using Vision, Plant UML and Confluence

Must haves:

· 5 + years of previous hands on Golang experience (Go system design/go architecture)

· 7 years of software development experience

· 1-2 yrs -Event Broker - Queues Solace, Kafka, preferably Solace

· 1-2 yrs -Event Driven Architecture - Must have worked on Designing Applications using EDA

· CI / CD

· Pub Sub messaging pattern

· Containers - Preferrably OCP, Alternatively -Kubernetes , Docker

· Monitoring - Preferrably Graffana, Splunk, Alternatively -Prometheus, AWS Cloud watch

· Rest /Rrpc

· SQL

Nice to have:

· preferable Azure DevOps

· Choreography pattern

· No SQL - Mongo DB, SQL MI

Notes:

- Project will be extended

- Potential for FTE conversion

- In phase 1 of development

- Payments is not needed

- Exposure to cloud is a must

- Looking for solid hands on Go experience
