Cyber Security Engineer

We are searching for a passionate ‘Cyber Security Operations Engineer’ who is eager to contribute to our business.

Capabilities:

• 5+ years information security, cyber security and/or related technology experience and track record in information security.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or engineering fields.
• Knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity, IT and Governance frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PCI/DSS, GDPR, KVKK, ITIL.
• Solid knowledge of security principles and practices.
• Practices and methods of IS strategy, enterprise architecture and security architecture.
• Good command of Turkish and English.
• Proven experience in the following topics are desired:
• Windows and Linux based operating systems
• Network protocols, routing and switching
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, EDR, SIEM, VPN, MFA, DDos protection
• Cyber intelligence, ethical hacking and threat modeling, secure coding practices
• Vulnerability management, Threat management, SAST, DAST
• Professional security management certification is desired.
• Analytical, strategic planning and project/organization/time/resource management skills.
• Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective security incident and problem resolution.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and administer security devices/solutions including Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy, WAF, VPN, SIEM, Endpoint, Application Security.
• Continuous monitoring/analytics and reporting activities of security devices/software.
• Design, develop, and implement cyber security solutions for various products and solutions, as required.
• Evaluate, define, and assess application security requirements, including threat and vulnerability assessment, data security, encryption and transport security.
• Perform vendor, software, systems, network and application security assessments, plan and track the required actions with the relevant teams.
• Define and execute cyber security management projects, processes, standards.
• Continuous cyber security monitoring, vulnerability and penetration testing and compliance monitoring, security enforcement and hardening activities.
• Create, and maintain cyber security documentation and procedures.
• Provide information to management with respect to current security events, reporting, investigation monitoring, and day to day security operations.
• Review, analyze and take the actions related security alerts and vulnerabilities from vendors and other security sources.
