PHP Developer / Software Engineer (Full Stack JavaScript) London / WFH to £65k

Do you have advanced PHP skills combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills?

You could be joining a hugely successful Financial Services company with over £50 billion under management.

As a PHP Developer you'll take ownership of maintaining and developing new Intranet applications, ensuring that company information is secure and accessible. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders to introduce new features, working across the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis through to delivery. There's a focus on backend PHP development on Linux but you'll also have exposure to the front end, using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid work from home policy with two days a week in the London, City office.

About You

• You have strong PHP development skills including a PHP framework, they use Yii2 but Laravel or Symfony experience is also fine
• You have a good knowledge of Linux OS
• You have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• You have a good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• You have excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Ideally you will hold a Computer Science degree or have experience within a finance / regulated environment
