Midlevel Backend Developer

Mintago is looking for a talented Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our growing team. As part of our innovative company, you'll work on building high-performance NodeJS services using modern technologies and frameworks, all underpinned with TypeScript. You'll collaborate closely with our frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.

You'll be joining as our fourth backend engineer into a team of Seniors, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our tech stack and build your expertise in a fast-paced, high-performance environment within a well-funded startup.

We're committed to delivering robust, reliable software and prioritise secure development practices at every stage. You'll be expected to write secure code from the outset and work with our security team to stay up to date on emerging threats and implement the right controls to protect our systems and users.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain performant backend APIs that drive our product
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
• Write secure, well-tested, and maintainable code
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Strong JavaScript skills with solid experience in TypeScript
• Professional experience building REST APIs using Node.js
• Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes in a production environment
• A good understanding of unit testing and clean code principles
