Scrum Master

Broad Function:

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team; you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective project management practices and guiding the team towards successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management methodologies, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Scrum principles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for onshore and offshore teams.
Lead Agile ceremonies for onshore and offshore teams, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach and mentor the development team on project management methodologies to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables.
Assist in breaking down complex tasks into actionable components with clear acceptance criteria.
Identify and eliminate impediments to team progress for successful sprint delivery.
Monitor project progress, address impediments, and promote continuous improvement.
Foster a collaborative team environment and promote knowledge sharing.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and project managers.
Maintain project metrics for transparency and update progress charts, milestones, and team capacity.
Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
Stay informed about industry trends to contribute to the improvement of project management practices.
Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members for alignment and collaboration.
Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Desired Candidate profile:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in a software development setting.
Min 2 Years of exp required in Azure DevOps
Knowledge on how to create and manage sprints dashboards projects boards etc.
Proficient in project management methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Capable of collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
Demonstrated success in delivering software projects using project management best practices.
Strong leadership and facilitation skills to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
Possession of Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience in coaching and guiding teams on project management best practices.
Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and Trello is advantageous.
