Job Title:

AI / Digital Product Design Consultant – Maritime Logistics

Introduction to the Client & Project:

Our client is a leading maritime logistics company embarking on a digital transformation journey to enhance operational efficiency through AI. As part of this effort, they are seeking an experienced consultant to lead a high-impact workstream focused on AI-driven use case development and rapid prototyping of digital products.

This initiative aims to accelerate innovation within logistics processes, improve decision-making through AI insights, and build scalable product foundations that can be integrated into the client’s technology ecosystem.

Job Objective:

The objective of this role is to design, frame, and deliver AI-enabled use cases while developing digital product prototypes that align with core business goals. The consultant will act as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, transforming complex logistics challenges into innovative AI applications and supporting product delivery from concept to testing.

Key Responsibilities:

AI-Driven Use Case Development

• Lead the identification and design of AI-enabled use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand operational pain points and opportunities for automation or intelligence enhancement.
• Frame use cases with clear business value, technical feasibility, and implementation roadmap.

Digital Product Prototyping & Delivery

• Build prototypes of digital products using agile methodologies.
• Guide UX/UI considerations aligned with business workflows in maritime logistics.
• Validate product concepts through stakeholder engagement and iterative testing.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical inputs for development teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

• Drive cross-functional collaboration between business, data, and IT teams.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and alignment of new tools and processes.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven track record in delivering AI use cases and digital products in complex operational environments.
• Strong data-to-business translation skills, with the ability to simplify AI/ML concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management, prototyping tools, and agile practices.
• Industry experience in logistics or maritime sectors highly desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of experience in AI/digital product delivery, consulting, or related fields.
• Background in data science, product management, or digital innovation.
• Prior experience in logistics or industrial sectors preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.

Project Details

• Start Date: Late May 2025
• Duration: 24 weeks
• Time Commitment: 5 days per week (full-time)
• Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi
