Compensation: €6,000 - €6,850 / month

Description

Java Developer is invited to join EIS as a part of the team developing the new insurance platform from scratch. Our mission statement is to insure the world by bringing up a lean, scalable insurance platform. We use the best in class cutting-edge technologies in order to achieve the architecture goals:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop features according to business requirements using EIS platform. Support systems already in production.
  • Work with Business analysts and clients to better understand requirements and business needs.
  • Actively participate during Scrum ceremonies: planning, backlog refinement, daily calls, and retrospective.
  • Work according to the best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to the overall team success during all phases of the software development life cycle

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Working knowledge of Java 21, Docker Compose, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Unit testing, JSF, Spring Webflow, Liquibase, Git or Mercurial, Maven.
  • Experience working with REST API and knowledge of HTTP protocol
  • Knowledge of the Software development life cycle and programming best practices
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices
  • Understanding of KAFKA or other messaging solutions
  • Understanding of Jenkins

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer
  • Intermediate English level
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile
