As the company continues to scale its innovative operations, they are seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Developer to architect and develop high-performance user interfaces from the ground up. This role also offers the opportunity to lead and grow a team of frontend developers over time.

Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to play a key role within their development team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in building and maintaining high-performance user interfaces, with the ambition to eventually lead and grow a team of frontend developers.

Responsibilities

• Take Charge of the UI: Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web applications with performance and scalability at the core.
• Deliver Fast, Ship Smart: Write clean, efficient code that’s ready for production—without compromising on quality or industry standards.
• Drive Product Excellence: Collaborate across design, backend, and product teams to build fluid and intuitive user journeys.
• Guide Future Talent: Lead onboarding and mentorship efforts as new frontend engineers join the team.
• Maximize Performance: Apply best practices for speed, security, and accessibility to create robust, high-performing apps.
• Stay Cutting-Edge: Continuously explore advancements in frontend frameworks, Web3 trends, and DeFi innovations to enhance the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, including a minimum of 3 years building applications with React.
• Proven track record working on platforms handling large volumes of real-time data, such as finance, trading, or betting environments.
• Solid expertise in modern web technologies including JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a focus on modular and reusable UI components.
• Advanced understanding of frontend performance tuning, including techniques like caching strategies, data pagination, WebSocket integration, and seamless communication between client and server.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and PostgreSQL in real-time data environments, with a strong focus on optimizing API calls and database queries.
• Well-versed in performance tuning through query optimization and effective caching techniques.
• Proficient in modern development tools and frameworks such as Docker, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and contemporary frontend build systems.
• Detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sense — committed to delivering clean, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Highly self-driven and adaptable, able to excel in dynamic, fast-moving teams while juggling diverse responsibilities.
• Excellent communicator with proven ability to lead teams and foster collaboration across functions.

Preferred

• Background in developing frontends for financial services, betting platforms, or gaming applications
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, Web3 frameworks, or decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions
• Proven experience in building and managing high-performing engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with Hasura or similar GraphQL engines
