Role Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in hybrid environments.
  • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability.
  • Manage Linux servers and ensure their optimal performance.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams for smooth integration of application features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Optimize resource utilization and performance enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation of systems and processes.
  • Configure and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and audits.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incident escalations.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Linux system administration L2 or L3.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge in containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Solid networking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
