Technical Lead- Java development – on microservices architecture, Spring boot

We have an urgent requirement for Technical Lead- Java development – on microservices architecture, Spring boot ( Backend) is required for one of our banking client in Dubai, UAE

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in backend development IS MUST TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

Experience end-to-end project management for software development initiatives is MUST to apply for this role

Experience in using Java Spring boots Framework -with experience on microservices architecture, Spring IS MUST TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

Experience with Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is MUST

Handling Team Experience Is MUST

The first round is online test on Gorilla for 1.5 hours. Candidates ready to give rest, shall only apply .

Banking domain is MUST

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for software development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and communication plans.
  • Work closely with development teams, particularly those using Java and React.js, to ensure technical alignment and feasibility.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote best practices in software development and project management.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 12 years of experience in IT, with more than 3 years dedicated to project management within software development environments.
  • Strong technical background in Java development; ability to understand and engage in technical discussions.
  • Possesses a clear understanding of enterprise architecture and the ability to guide development teams on technical matters.
  • Exposure to React.js or other modern front-end frameworks is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
