Software Engineer - C++/Qt (all genders)

The Schiebel Group of companies is world-wide high-tech electronic enterprise for Unmanned Air Systems (CAMCOPTER® S-100) and Mine Detection Systems.

Your Duties:

• In this role you will develop software to control a 200 kg, three-meter-long autonomous helicopter.
• You will work on a range of software products: from mission planning and control software to video processing and API integrations.
• In doing so, you will contribute your experience to our systems- and software architecture planning.
• You will develop automated unit-, integration-, and systems tests and write test specifications for our testing teams.

Our Requirements:

• You have an active interest in working with complex systems in an aviation environment.
• You are experienced in designing and implementing Software in C/C++.
• You feel comfortable with Windows-based software development.
• Producing a high quality product is of importance to you and ideally already have experience with automated testing.
• Being familiar with software development for safety-critical applications would be an advantage.
• Also knowledge and experience with the Qt framework and OpenGL would be beneficial.
• Being familiar with map visualization / GIS would be a plus.
• You also communicate proactively and enjoy working as part of a team.

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable Collective Agreement for the Metal Trade for salaried employees. There is a willingness to overpay depending on your qualifications and work experience.
