Sr. Python Developer (AI/ML company)

Our client, a global leader in the fintech and data tech space, is expanding its AI engineering team in Kiyv. The company is among the top-10 most visited websites worldwide and one of the most recognized names in financial data platforms. Operating across all continents, their AI-based system supports 60 mln+ monthly users and handles 4+billion page views—powering over 300,000 high-load data and analytics products for financial and investment markets.

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Python Developer, based in Ukraine or EMEA, with a strong background in AI/ML or data-driven projects. You’ll join the company’s AI squad and play a key role in designing and deploying cutting-edge AI-driven solutions and tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results. This is a high-impact position contributing to one of the world’s largest and most complex real-time fintech platforms, offering exposure to both local and international development environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-powered products and tools that are core to the company’s platform
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers on design and delivery
• Develop and optimize API integrations with external services
• Implement and improve intelligent content systems using modern AI methods
• Research and apply cutting-edge techniques in context-aware and data-driven content generation
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices across the team

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SW development, with at least 4 years with Python as core language
• At least 1,5 years of experience in AI, ML, or large-scale data product development
• 1–2+ years of experience with Flask or Django
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with rapid development platforms (e.g., Retool, Windmill) is a plus
• Experience with Go is a strong advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on high-load systems
• English – fluent
• Ukrainian – fluent
