Capch is building a new social layer — one focused on memory, not performance. We’re not another feed. We’re a Memory Timeline: a frictionless way to preserve and share real-life moments with the people who matter most. No likes. No followers. No algorithm.

We’re looking for a Founding iOS Engineer to join us on this mission — someone who cares deeply about emotional UX, beautiful UI, and getting the microinteractions right. If you believe less is more, and that tech should feel human, you’ll feel right at home.

What You'll Build

As our first full-time engineer, you’ll own the Capch iOS app and bring our vision to life on mobile:

• Architect, build, and scale our native SwiftUI + UIKit iOS app
• Translate our Figma designs into seamless, native-feeling user flows
• Collaborate closely with the founders on timeline UX, gesture systems, and performance
• Build and maintain our backend integration (AWS, DynamoDB, custom services)
• Set standards for reliability, privacy, and polish across every release
• Ship often: we run weekly build cycles via TestFlight and move fast

You Might Be a Fit If...

• You’ve built and shipped production-quality iOS apps (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit)
• You have a sharp eye for microinteractions and mobile UX
• You’ve worked solo or on small teams — and love wearing multiple hats
• You care about quality, responsiveness, and user joy
• You’ve touched AWS, Typescript, or serverless systems — or are excited to
• You’re comfortable working remotely (CET-friendly hours) and self-directed
• You’re motivated by mission and want to build something that matters

Location & Eligibility

• This is a remote role, but we require strong overlap with CET (+/- 2h) working hours.
• At this stage, we’re not able to offer visa sponsorship, so we can only consider candidates with existing work authorisation in their country of residence.
