Python/SAS Clinical Programmer

The Python/SAS Clinical Programmer role is a great opportunity to work within our sponsor dedicated department and have this unique relationship with a sponsor. You will focus on development and implementation of programming solutions using the Saama platform to address global technical services issues and optimize clinical data processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Proactively learn and support the setup, programming, and maintenance of clinical/safety databases using Saama’s AI-driven platform and Python/SAS.
• Assist in designing data workflows, programming data checks, generating listings, and creating reports using Saama/Python and visualization tools like Cognos or Business Objects.
• Develop and maintain Python/SAS programs to support Saama processes, including dataset creation and mapping specifications aligned with CDISC standards.
• Program data pipelines to import and transform external data into Saama-compatible formats or Python/SAS/Excel for review and reconciliation.
  
  

Your profile

• University / college degree
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Ideally 2-4 years of relevant work experience to include data management and database support: EDC systems programming or SAS programming.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Basic knowledge of clinical trial process and data management, biometrics, and systems applications to support operations preferred
