Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

• Design and develop robust AI/ML-based software solutions, including experimentation with large datasets, model selection, feature engineering, evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Build and maintain scalable data and ML infrastructure, supporting robust data pipelines and model lifecycle management.
• Apply software engineering principles and design patterns to machine learning codebases, ensuring performance, maintainability, and reusability.
• Create tools, services, and reusable components that support efficient ML development (e.g., feature stores, model registries, A/B testing frameworks, and observability tools).
• Work in cross-functional agile teams alongside data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build production-grade ML systems and foster a data-driven culture.
  
  

Your Profile (Must-have Requirements)

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc) – or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5–10 years of industry experience, including 3+ years as a professional software developer and a transition into machine learning engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in building and maintaining production systems.
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models in production and working with modern MLOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated testing).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI) and scalable compute solutions.
• Experience working with large-scale, heterogeneous datasets (streaming and batch), including strong knowledge of data storage, processing frameworks, and data structures.
• Practical knowledge of ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn) and ability to select the right tool for the problem at hand.
• Comfort working in agile environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to shared goals and deliverables.

• Experience building ML platforms or developer tools.
• Exposure to experimentation platforms and statistical evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
