Senior UX/UI Designer

Initial 12-month contract with extensions. Applicants from all major Australian cities will be considered. Australian Citizenship required.

Our client is a large organisation in the early stages of a significant digital refresh. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you’ll lead the end-to-end experience and interface design of a new mobile app before moving onto further projects including redesigning websites and internal portals. This role offers the chance to take ownership of design systems, accessibility, and user-centred design within a high-profile, user-impacting project.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead the creation of UX flows and annotated UI designs for a new mobile app (iOS & Android)
• Contribute to and help launch a new Figma-based design system, including component libraries
• Ensure WCAG 2.1.1 accessibility compliance across layouts, font sizing, colour contrast, and component behaviours
• Work alongside BAs and developers, handing off wireframes and designs with clear documentation

About you:

• Experience designing mobile apps (iOS/Android), with strong capability in both UX and UI
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Proficiency in Figma and ability to create and maintain shared design systems
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence other UXers and collaborate across teams.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a high-performing team

Daily rate banding: $900 – $1,000/day incl super.
