Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Initial 12-month contract with extensions. Applicants from all major Australian cities will be considered. Australian Citizenship required.

Our client is a large organisation undergoing wide-spread technology transformation projects delivering high-impact digital services. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a leading role in service reliability for key customer-facing platforms, including web portals and mobile applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation, observability, and performance improvements across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead monitoring and reliability efforts across cloud platforms, supporting web and mobile applications.
• Configure and manage observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Use Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and deployments in AWS/Kubernetes environments.

About you:

• Strong experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles within complex, cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on skills with Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation tooling and scripting (Terraform, Python, Shell, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with securing and monitoring containerised microservices in production.

Daily rate banding: $900 – $1,100/day incl super. Flexibility above this range available for candidates with niche or leadership experience.
