Senior AI Engineer – Multi-Agent LLM Systems

We are looking for an outstanding individual with expertise in developing and optimizing multi-agent systems leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs). This role will be crucial in advancing AI architectures where multiple agents collaborate to perform complex tasks, integrating reinforcement learning, self-learning, and coordination strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Research, design, and implement multi-agent LLM-based architectures to solve real-world AI challenges.
Develop and optimize algorithms for agent coordination, communication, and collaboration in complex environments.
Work with cutting-edge AI techniques such as reinforcement learning, self-supervised learning, and meta-learning to enhance multi-agent performance.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to co-design AI models optimized for Openchip’s custom silicon solutions.
Experiment with decentralized AI models and federated learning approaches for multi-agent systems.
Implement large-scale distributed training pipelines for multi-agent reinforcement learning.
Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of AI workloads on custom accelerators.
Stay up to date with advancements in deep learning, multi-agent reinforcement learning, and AI hardware to bring innovative ideas into Openchip’s AI strategy.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to Openchip’s AI research and development roadmap.

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing multi-agent AI systems and training LLM-based models.
Strong programming skills in Python (Go, C++,… is a plus) and proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
Experience with AI agent (collaboration) techniques with frameworks like LlamaIndex, Langchain, CrewAI, Autogen, Letta...
Familiarity with multi-agent training techniques and distributed learning frameworks.
Experience working in a hardware/software co-design environment is highly desirable.
Fluent in English is a must; knowledge of additional European languages (German, Dutch, Spanish, French, or Italian) is a plus.
