About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the company’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing infrastructure that supports some of the largest data ecosystems in the world. The position focuses on building scalable, high-availability systems capable of handling immense data volumes and traffic flows.
You will work closely with teams in algorithm development, R&D, and data engineering to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. A critical aspect of the role is leveraging GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Flux to maintain efficient, version-controlled, and automated deployment pipelines. On-call duties occur roughly once a month, with a focus on resolving issues collaboratively rather than individually.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across AWS and OCI to handle large-scale workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Mimir, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions tailored to complex data-processing requirements.
- Automate deployments and cloud resource provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring uptime and reliability for billions of daily requests.
- Implement GitOps workflows to streamline deployments and ensure version control.
- Optimize data pipelines for high-volume, low-latency data processing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (including Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux).
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Previous experience in AdTech, gaming, or other data-intensive industries is highly preferred.
- A proven track record of managing large-scale, high-traffic systems.
- Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation (~once a month).
