Group Business Intelligence and Data Manager

The Global ICT Business Intelligence and Data Manager will lead a global team of BI and data specialists. This role is pivotal in developing the vision, ensuring business alignment, and overseeing the implementation and support of various Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms across Puratos companies worldwide. The manager will also identify, promote, and coach improvement projects to enhance the adoption, usability, performance, and data consistency of BI and AI platforms for all entities. You will be part of the IT management team.

Key Accountabilities

Vision and Strategy Development:

• Develop and communicate a clear vision for BI and AI data management aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Ensure alignment of BI and AI initiatives with business objectives across global entities.
  
  

Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of BI specialists and data specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment with different Proof of concepts and pilots to ensure technological innovation.
• Ensure knowledge building inside the team to provide latest technology solutions to the Puratos business.
• Leadership of the BI and Data platforms including all BI/Data applications, BI analysis tools, BI/Data modelling applications and BI/Data platform integration tools.
  
  

Implementation and Support:

• Oversee the implementation and support of BI and AI projects across various Puratos companies.
• Ensure the BI and AI platforms meet the needs of different business units and are scalable and sustainable.
• Take initiatives to measure and improve adoption of BI and Data applications.
• Act as BI & Data Architect ensuring correct implementation and consistency of Business Intelligence Platform.
  
  

Project Management:

• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify, promote, and coach improvement projects aimed at enhancing BI and AI platform usability, performance, and data consistency.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their BI and AI needs and ensure solutions are aligned with business requirements.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on BI and AI initiatives and performance.
  
  

Data Governance and Quality:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all BI and AI platforms.
• Ensure overall security of BI and AI platforms
  

Who are we looking for?

• Leadership & strategic vision
  
  

Masters degree in a relevant domain or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of expertise in the area of Business Intelligence and Data
• Strong understanding of BI and AI platforms (SAP BI, Power BI, Azure)
• Good overall knowledge of technological evolution of Big Data
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proven experience in a similar role, managing global BI and AI data teams.
