Ranked one of the UK's best places to work, this software house are looking to grow out their Engineering team, specifically for a Principal Backend Engineer to support a small Engineering team as they design, scale and maintain their SaaS platform.

🧰 Tech You’ll Work With:

• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React or Vue.js
• Node.js on the backend
• AWS Serverless (some Azure exposure is a bonus)
• RESTful APIs and cloud-native integration

🧠 What You’ll Bring:

• 5–7+ years in software engineering
• A Computer Science degree (or equivalent experience)
• Strong frontend engineering skills, ideally in customer-facing SaaS products
• Good experience with backend concepts, RESTful services, and data flows
• Experience collaborating with designers on cross function teams

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building elegant, complex frontend features for a global SaaS platform
• Integrating across a serverless backend using modern APIs
• Collaborating with design and product teams to bring features to life
• Delivering code that’s clean, scalable, and production-ready
• Working alongside 10+ talented engineers who care about quality
