Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Vision:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the MEIA region, aligning with overall brand objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive 360 activation plans for new product launches and existing collections, ensuring optimal resource allocation and time-to-market efficiency.
- Translate brand elements and product strategy into actionable plans and effective go-to-market strategies.
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics (sales, market share, customer feedback) and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize results.
- Measure market and product catalog performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Prepare and present reports on product performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial strategy and forecasting to launch, activation, reporting, and identification of future opportunities.
- Develop product positioning & distribution strategies to maximize market penetration.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, retail, and other cross-functional teams to drive product visibility, sales performance, and a cohesive brand message.
- Develop and deliver product-related presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Involve relevant teams (training, communication, retail, merchandising, PR & Influence, digital, etc.) to boost product performance at all levels.
Product distribution & Innovation:
- Act as the brand ambassador for the product, both internally and externally.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate innovative ideas to expand market share, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
- Build awareness and understanding of all products within the portfolio.
- Monitor product distribution channels and consumer reactions to ensure optimal market penetration.
The Person
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven work experience in product management
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Solid technical background in operational product management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MS/BS degree in Marketing, or Business Management
