Our teams are responsible for developing the Airties Software Platform, which powers Airties wireless products and facilitates application development for various markets. Team members collaborate across the organization, focusing on the productization of the software platform while also supporting application development and system integration.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Linux user-space application development using C/C++, as well as proficiency in Linux kernel and device driver development. Additionally, the role requires a strong willingness to work on embedded Linux platform bring-up and porting, as well as implementing and optimizing the performance of wireless and Ethernet device drivers.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage with various aspects of the Linux kernel and networking subsystems while being part of a highly skilled team specializing in 802.11 wireless standards, IP networking, bridging, and routing.

Location: İzmir & İstanbul

What you will do:

• Rapid board bring up and profile generation of new platforms
• Improve and build out core software platform and architectures to support multiple hardware platforms
• Port legacy software platform to next-generation SOC/hardware platforms
• Improve and build out core software platform and architectures to support multiple hardware platforms
• Bug fixing of existing packages and code base
• New feature requests will be implemented.
• Automated tests complementing development will be implemented.

What you should ideally bring:

• BSc in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficiency in C programming
• Being able to modularize the software and make it clean to maintain in a clear way.
• No hesitation about using Linux (both command line and GUI) as working environment.
• Good understanding of embedded Linux system internals, cross-compilation environments, device driver development, and performance tuning
• Hands on experience with firmware debugging using a full range of test equipment, especially with Linux soft tools
• Familiarity with shell and script languages
• Highly desired and has the ability to lead as well as work individually
• Enthusiastic to learn Networking technologies.
• Enthusiastic to apply root-cause analysis for bugs.
• Well communication skills.
• Open-minded and open to changes in terms of development methods.

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of computer architectures and real-time programming concepts
• Acquaintance with open-source tools, philosophy, and community
• Expert about Unix network programming, systems programming, and multi-threading.
• Being able to sniff and understand network traffic via Wireshark.
• Expert about GNU build system and open-source packages
• Familiarity with source control bug tracking tools (Git, Jira, etc...)
