Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality Python libraries and packages tailored to user community needs. Ensure code is clean, efficient, well-documented, and follows best practices and coding standards.
• Provide expert guidance on building modern APIs with a focus on resilience, scalability, high availability, and security.
• Contribute to the organization's cloud transformation efforts, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and implementation of CI/CD pipelines via Azure.
• Develop new features, implement enhancements, and address bugs based on user feedback and community input. Maintain compatibility across different versions of Anaconda Distribution and other major Python distributions.
• Monitor the performance, health, and resource utilization of infrastructure to ensure the reliable operation of Anaconda Enterprise services.
• Configure and manage authentication methods, access controls, and user permissions within the Anaconda Enterprise platform.
• Oversee user accounts, groups, and roles to maintain security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Customize Anaconda Enterprise environments to align with the specific needs of data science teams and their projects.
• Install and manage supplementary packages, libraries, and dependencies required for data analytics, machine learning, and related workloads.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting for users encountering issues with the Anaconda Enterprise platform.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure, configuration, and compatibility problems impacting Anaconda Enterprise deployments.
• Optimize the performance of Anaconda Enterprise environments by monitoring responsiveness, resource usage, and job execution efficiency.
• Detect and address performance bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and scalability issues to support seamless data science operations.

Profile:

• Proficient in Python programming with strong development skills.
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with Python package management, especially using Conda.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with security scanning tools.
• Understanding of data science methodologies; experience with machine learning or MLOps is a plus.
• Skilled in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
