Our fintech client in Vilnius is seeking a senior Python Engineer to join their team on a 6-month rolling contract. This role offers a chance to contribute to the company’s largest-ever migration to the cloud and build a new finance system from the ground up using Python.

Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in the migration of the company’s platform to the cloud.
• Develop a new finance system from scratch using Python.
• Ensure the availability, stability, and integrity of the company’s IT platform.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Evolve platform capabilities while maintaining its integrity and security.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
