SRE- Network Engineer

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in network security and infrastructure technologies, including Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, and AVI Networks. This role will focus on ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of network and application delivery infrastructure in production and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on technical skills with automation and DevOps practices to maintain and optimize resilient infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability and reliability of network and application delivery infrastructure through automation, monitoring, and proactive improvements.
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls and ensure secure access policies across environments.
• Administer and support F5 Load Balancers for traffic distribution, SSL offloading, and application availability.
• Implement and manage VMware NSX for network virtualization and security segmentation.
• Operate and optimize Cisco ACI infrastructure including fabric management and policy enforcement.
• Deploy and troubleshoot AVI Networks (NSX Advanced Load Balancer) for software-defined load balancing.
• Automate routine tasks and incident response using scripting (Python, Bash) or tools like Ansible, Terraform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident detection, response, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure configurations are compliant with organizational standards.

Must Have:

Experience with F5, Firewall, NSX, ACI, AVI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, F5, NSX, ACI, and AVI Networks in production.
• Proficiency in networking concepts: VLANs, routing, NAT, VPNs, load balancing, and DNS.
• Strong skills in automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk) is a plus.
• Certifications such as PCNSE, F5-CTS, VCP-NV, CCNP, or ACI/NSX-specific credentials are preferred.
