Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) Consultant/Engineer

Job Title: Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) Consultant / Engineer

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OIM architecture and hands-on experience with connector development, data flows, provisioning, and custom Java integrations. This role is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining secure identity lifecycle processes across our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) solutions based on business and security requirements.
• Develop and customize customer connectors for onboarding and provisioning of user accounts across heterogeneous systems.
• Analyze and optimize data flows between source systems, OIM, and downstream applications.
• Implement and maintain robust user provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Develop and integrate custom APIs and Java components to extend OIM functionality.
• Write and optimize queries against OIM database tables for reporting and troubleshooting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including InfoSec, IAM, DevOps, and application owners.
• Provide technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Identity Manager (11g/12c).
• Strong knowledge of OIM architecture and deployment models.
• Experience developing and configuring custom connectors using OIM APIs.
• Proficient in Java and OIM extension frameworks (Event Handlers, Scheduled Tasks, SOA workflows).
• Solid understanding of data flows and integration techniques with HRMS, AD, LDAP, and cloud applications.
• Experience with user provisioning, access policies, roles, and entitlement management.
• Deep understanding of OIM tables, schema, and data models for identity governance.
• Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and debugging OIM logs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex identity scenarios.
