Automation Engineer

Blackfield are seeking a skilled PLC & SCADA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs & HMI's to work with a Client in Oslo, Norway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system improvements and enhancements while also providing operational support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens PLCs, SCADAs, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Work on packaging systems and vendor-packaged equipment, including clean utilities.
• Identify and implement system improvements to optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and automation troubleshooting.
• Experience working with packaging and clean utility equipment.
• Ability to balance system improvements with operational support.

This requirement is a contract opportunity through till the end of 2025 with a possible extension into 2026.

Candidates will be expected to be in Oslo 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs)
