At Weir Minerals, we're dedicated to revolutionizing the mining industry using cutting-edge digital technology for a sustainable future. Our mission is to digitalize all our products, solutions, and services by 2030, enhancing efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring safer operations.
As an AI Developer in Process Optimization for Minerals Digital, you'll develop and deploy physics-informed, differentiable AI models that recommend optimal equipment settings across objectives like throughput, energy efficiency, and wear life. You’ll collaborate with technical leads, software developers, and process engineers to bring interpretable optimization models from prototype to production deployment.
To excel in this role, you need to be mathematically fluent, hands-on with modern ML tooling, and excited about applying AI to real-world industrial systems. You should be comfortable working across the boundaries of modeling, simulation, and software engineering.
What we offer: At Weir, we are proud to provide reward on a basis which is fair and attractive, including a competitive benefits package. Through our ‘We are Weir’ framework, we focus on the importance of our people and the contribution they make to our organisation.
