We are hiring multiple Freelance Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to join a long-term AI transformation with a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in Barcelona. You must have freelanced/contracted before as my client doesn't budget for Permanent resource

This project focuses on applying AI and Generative AI to improve patient outcomes, clinical data processes, and operational efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and validating AI/ML and GenAI use cases

• Designing and deploying AI-driven solutions to optimise Clinical Trials, Drug Discovery, and Process Automation

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business value, regulatory standards, and AI governance

• Driving internal awareness of AI initiatives through presentations, reports, and stakeholder engagement

🔧 Tech stack:

Python, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, MLflow, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Azure OpenAI

• Remote from Spain with occasional onsite meetings in Barcelona
• June 2025 starts available
• Long-term project with likely extensions
