About the Role

• We are seeking a Senior Information Security Officer to join a dynamic and fast-growing center of excellence focused on AI and Cybersecurity. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-impact environments, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and are passionate about protecting digital assets and ensuring compliance with evolving security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver CISO-as-a-Service (CISOaaS) to internal business units, enhancing their overall security posture.
• Lead and support ISO 27001 certification efforts and ensure NIS2 Directive compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments (ISO 27001, NIS2, risk, maturity) to identify gaps and define strategic roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate IT and cloud architectures for vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Advise on cybersecurity risk management, governance, and compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
• Act as an interim security officer for IT projects, performing risk assessments and guiding secure implementation.
• Design and test business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management plans.
• Establish and manage security reporting and performance metrics (KPIs).
• Organize and lead security awareness programs across the organization.
• Respond to customer due diligence and security questionnaires within defined SLAs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, risk management, audit, or IT.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks: ISO 27000 series, NIST, ISF, CIS, and NIS2 Directive.
• Hands-on experience in multiple security domains: Risk Management, IAM, Network/Application Security, Vulnerability Management, etc.
• Proven experience with ISMS implementation, risk assessments, and audit support.
• Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISSP, CISM, or willingness to obtain them.
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS).
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of personal integrity.
• Strong project management and autonomous delivery capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery models.
• Ability to define and track security KPIs and metrics.
