In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Monitor changes in our customer base, behaviour patterns, and product usage to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support sales planning by contributing to KPI definition and performance tracking.
- Identify target customer groups to drive sales growth and enhance service offerings.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse large datasets to uncover valuable insights that support smarter business decisions.
- Develop and maintain analytical solutions that deliver added value to our corporate clients.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis functions (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and the ability to create clear visualizations like charts and graphs.
- Ability to summarize findings in a clear and structured way—turning complex data into business-friendly summaries and presentations for business counterparties.
- An analytical mindset, with an eye for patterns, trends, and relationships in data. You don’t need to be a statistician, but curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to ask “what is this data telling me?” are key.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clarify business needs, ask the right questions, and explain complex findings in clear and simple way.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about the corporate banking domain, including how financial products support businesses throughout different growth stages.
- Passion for working with or acquiring skills in databases and querying data (e.g., with SQL). Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or IBM CP4D/SPSS is a strong advantage, but not something you need to master from day one. (Additional knowledge of Teradata SQL and Python is a plus.)
- Collaboration skills, including the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Very good Latvian, fluency in English, both written and spoken (for cooperation with Baltic and Group colleagues).
