Role Overview

As a Front-End Developer at Ontinue, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing user-centric interfaces for the ION MXDR platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end developers to create intuitive, responsive, and performant front-end applications that align with our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable front-end components for the ION MXDR platform.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and create seamless user experiences.
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
Maintain and improve front-end build systems, tooling, and deployment pipelines.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address any browser-specific performance issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust and secure code.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (React.js preferred).
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
Proficiency in front-end tools (e.g., Babel, Vite, Next.js) and version control systems (Git).
Proficiency with automated unit tests.
Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft security tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Defender) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C#
Experience with Azure
Experience working in cybersecurity or SaaS environments.
Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, ReactFlow. (Highcharts preferred) to build intuitive security dashboards.
Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines.
