• Pay Rate: $82.00/hour, depending on experience
• Contract Length: 2 months, with possibility of extension

Raise is currently hiring a Data Scientist on behalf of our client, a leading financial institution. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable, and pay rate will be adjusted accordingly.

Job Overview

The Data Scientist will build a robust and user-friendly Talent Review Management Tool. This tool will streamline the talent management process and provide comprehensive data analysis capabilities for our business units.

Description

• Develop and implement a Talent Review Management Tool using AppSheet, based on specified data and technical requirements listed below. i) The tool should allow for individual workbooks for leaders across multiple organizational levels with hierarchical roll-up of talent review data. ii) An AppScript that fulfills several of the technical requirements has been written. It is expected that the AppSheet will convert and migrate existing AppScript logic to AppSheet automation and scripts. iii)The tools should be ready in 8 weeks, including testing and soft launching.
• Ensure data integrity and automatic data updates based on organizational changes. i) Integrate AppSheet with Google Sheets and SQL databases, including weekly data refresh from SQL. ii) The AppSheet should allow for asynchronous and continuous updates, where certain areas within the organization will run Talent Reviews at different times, and where leaders may update the talent ratings as needed
• Implement role-level security and manage user access permissions.
• Design and build user interfaces within AppSheet for efficient data input and modification.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the Talent Review Management Tool.
• Ability to extract the collected information on an ongoing basis for dashboard creation and updates
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field would provide a strong foundation in programming, data analysis, and software development an asset
• AppSheet Automation and Workflow Expertise: The developer needs a strong understanding of AppSheet's automation capabilities to convert and migrate existing AppScript logic.
• API Integration with Google Sheets and SQL Databases: Experience connecting AppSheet to both Google Sheets and SQL databases, including setting up data refreshes, is essential.
• Role-Level Security Implementation: The developer must be proficient in designing and implementing role-level security within AppSheet.
• User Interface Design in AppSheet: The ability to create user-friendly interfaces for data input and modification is necessary for the talent rating tool.
• Knowledge of AppScript: Familiarity with AppScript is important to understand and migrate existing logic into AppSheet.
