UI/UX Engineer

We are looking for an adaptable and highly motivated individual to join a fast-paced Competitive Intelligence (CI) Platform development team within the technology function. This is a high visibility and high impact opportunity, working with diverse and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack skills, including proficiency in front-end development using React and API development with C# or NodeJS. You must be highly adaptable, eager to learn new technical skills, and ready to integrate seamlessly into a dynamic work environment, ensuring alignment with evolving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development:

Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive user interfaces with a focus on design fidelity and technical precision, using modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind and integrating designs built in Figma.

• Back-End Development:

Build and maintain robust, scalable back-end services. Work with API approaches such as REST or GraphQL for data retrieval and management.

• Client Portals:

Collaborate with the Business Development Team to develop and maintain highly secure, enterprise-grade applications, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

• Data Integration:

Assist in the development of web applications to aid in the discovery, evaluation, and enrichment of financial datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and programming skills (TypeScript/NodeJS/React/CSS)
• 4+ years of experience with NodeJS or similar back-end languages
• 4+ years of experience with web app/services architecture
• 2+ years of experience in Finance Technology
• 2+ years of experience with relational and document databases
• A solid understanding of the web development ecosystem and build toolchains
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Advantageous:

• Experience in Python or C# is preferred.
