About The Team

The Data Platform Team is the core of our company's data infrastructure. The team's main objective is to provide a scalable and compliant way for users to solve their needs around descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics in a self-service way.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Data Engineer with a strong focus on standardisation and automation. This role entails close and efficient collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, and your data teammates.

Your Daily Tasks Will Entail

  • Use Python and Snowflake as your main tools.
  • Develop and maintain optimal (and scalable) ELT data pipelines.
  • Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and the business processes that depend on it.
  • Collaborate with analytics, business, and software engineering teams to improve data models, increasing data accessibility and quality and fostering data-driven decision-making.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • Manage infrastructure of data services via Terraform.
  • Develop, maintain, and run various self-service data applications related to data import, profiling, integrations, data pipelines, data quality, and more.
  • Support teams with self-service data tools, documentation, PR reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, like data structures, data modeling, system design, and testing.
  • Expertise in any programming language. Python is preferred.
  • Expertise in relational data (SQL).
  • Experience with non-relational data (JSON, NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD lifecycle and git.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a web developer or background in any software development.
  • Experience with DWH solutions, Snowflake preferred.
  • Experience with message queues and stream processing technologies (Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS).
  • Experience Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and REST APIs.

  • Monthly gross salary starting from EUR 2600+, with potential for higher compensation based on work experience, education, and skills
