We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative AI team. You will support our AI initiatives, including maintaining and enhancing our AI customer-facing chatbot and Slack escalation helper.

Our team, led by an AI Solutions Architect and AI Director, fosters a collaborative environment. We have members from the USA and Israel, offering diverse perspectives. We successfully managed to grow our previous teams, and we plan to achieve the same with our AI team. Join us in these early stages, as we have products already deployed and new ones incoming. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the strategy and approach for creating internal products used by our 4,000 employees and over 200,000 businesses worldwide.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a back-end developer with at least 3 recent years of experience with NodeJS
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Strong skills in SQL databases, OOP, SOLID principles, system design, design patterns.
• Thorough understanding of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities in web applications
• Deep understanding of JavaScript
• Experience with REST APIs
• Knowledge of CSS-in-JS
• Interest in AI, with a bonus if you have built AI-related projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud), message queues (RabbitMQ, AWS SQS), and Docker
• Experience designing and developing web services or integrating with third-party APIs
• Production support experience (troubleshooting, bug fixing)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of web security vulnerabilities and best practices
• Experience with agile product development
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.

The salary range for this position is 7000 - 9000 EUR / gross. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.
