Business Data Analyst

Olpha is looking for Business Data Analyst to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Collect, structure, and analyze company sales and other business data to identify key trends, deviations, and business opportunities.
• Maintain and improve data tracking and analytical systems by working with various internal and external data sources.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, and create presentations tailored to regional, company-wide, and project-specific perspectives.
• Develop and refine data models and their interpretation, and continuously improve data analysis processes.
• Provide support and training to colleagues on the use of developed analytical tools and processes.

About you:

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis, preferably with sales and marketing data.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to draw well-founded conclusions from data, as well as develop data-driven recommendations and business solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and a solid understanding of data modeling.
• Excellent MS Excel skills, including knowledge of Power Pivot and Power Query; experience with Power BI or other BI platforms and data visualization is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python is considered an advantage.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other foreign languages is appreciated.
