About This Opportunity

We're looking for a creative UI Engineer with a strong UX mindset who is passionate about designing exceptional user experiences for our generative and predictive AI solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and design thinking, where you'll transform complex AI capabilities into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces.

This is a remote position is based Canada with a preference to candidates in Ottawa, Canada.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop responsive, elegant, and intuitive user interfaces for our AI platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, and product managers to understand complex AI functionality and translate it into accessible user experiences.
• Create interactive prototypes to visualize and test new UI concepts before implementation.
• Build reusable UI components and libraries that ensure consistency across our product ecosystem.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work with real-time data visualization and dynamic content rendering.
• Participate in user testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Stay ahead of UI/UX trends and emerging technologies in the AI space.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience in UI development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
• Portfolio demonstrating creative UI solutions and strong visual design sensibilities
• Experience working with REST APIs and handling dynamic data in front-end applications

• Experience designing interfaces for AI, ML, or data analytics products
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Vuex, etc.)
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Design and Mockup tools
• Experience with UI animation and micro-interactions
