🚀 Engineering Lead – React & Java | Migration-Focused | Enterprise-Scale Projects

📍 Location: Full Remote | 🕒 Full-Time

My client is looking for an Engineering Lead who’s ready to take the reins of complex frontend migration initiatives while staying hands-on in code. If you’ve led engineering teams, worked extensively with React, and have a solid background in Enterprise Java and Java Core I would be keen to chat with you!

What You’ll Do:

-Lead a team of talented engineers through frontend modernization projects, particularly migrating legacy platforms to React.

-Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to shape scalable frontend solutions for enterprise systems.

-Roll up your sleeves and dive into code—expect 40–60% hands-on development.

-Drive best practices around code quality, testing, and maintainability.

-Help transition and integrate existing Java-based backends with new frontend interfaces.

-Provide mentorship and technical guidance across the team.

Qualifications:

-8+ years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility.

-3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or projects.

-Expert-level proficiency in React.js and frontend architecture.

-Solid experience with Enterprise Java (JEE) and Java Core fundamentals.

-Demonstrated experience in large-scale frontend migrations or modernization efforts.

-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerization tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker).

-Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
