Credit Analyst (Credit Cards)

The role

This is a new role at Qred which means you’ll take the lead on shaping how we manage the credit process for the Qred VISA. As a Credit Analyst with a focus on our card offering, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the entire credit process. You will be analysing, monitoring and optimising the credit origination and underwriting process as well as the framework for adjusting credit limits. In this role, you’ll work within the Credit Domain, but collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to align credit strategies with customer needs and business goals. This is a unique opportunity to shape our current processes or build new ones from scratch, as well as to become the go-to expert for all credit-related aspects of our card product.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit card origination and suggest improvements in the process
• Define, monitor and optimise the framework for credit limit adjustments, i.e. automated increases or decreases in customer limits
• Define, build and maintain dashboards for monitoring performance of the credit card product
• Drive projects to improve and automate the credit process for the card product together with the card product team
• Contribute feedback for improving the risk models and underwriting practices used for the card product
• Data-driven optimisation of credit card customer lifecycle
• Together with the business owner optimise the credit card commercials by balancing potential income against potential risk
• Drive changes in the credit policy to facilitate the above
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Engineering or Mathematics or other quantitative field
• Relevant experience within the field of credit and analytics from bank, fintech, consulting or similar company
• Experience of using Python and SQL, or similar programming languages for analysis
• Experience using dashboarding systems such as Amazon Quicksight, Power BI, Qlikview or similar
• Fluent in the English language
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Suite or similar for presentation and documentation
