As People & Organization/HR Generalist, you will support the local P&O team and will be expected to take responsibility for, and handle the operational tasks for a variety of HR topics. You will act as a trusted advisor offering in-country policy expertise and knowledge to support and educate leaders, managers and associates on all P&O topics on the moments that matter. Close partnering with the different business functions and center of excellences is expected.
Major accountabilities:
- Managing operational P&O tasks (onboarding, lifecycle events, offboarding etc.)
- Supporting managers and associates on People related processes and moments that matter
- Support the implementation of new P&O policies incl. related activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the implementation of the Sandoz Culture and overall P&O objectives
- Ensure compliance with local legislation
- Support organizational design and other ad hoc initiatives as necessary
What you'll bring to the role:
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant HR qualification, and demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Fluent English and German (written and spoken) is essential
- Previous experience of using Workday (HR transactions) is highly beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels, including senior management.
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities in a fast paced and highly agile environment.
- Ability to operate autonomously, undertake self-learning and pro-actively search for solutions.
