Snr Specialist Cloud

Job purpose

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions to meet organizational needs. Ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and advanced cloud practices. Conducting cloud migrations, monitoring environments, resolving technical issues, and adopting emerging technologies. Moreover, driving digital transformation, enhancing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring robust security.

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Main tasks and responsibilitie

• sDesign and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures
• .Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools
• .Optimize cloud resource performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• .Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates
• .Conduct cloud migrations, including data, applications, and workloads
• .Ensure cloud environment security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards
• .Monitor cloud infrastructure using tools like Azure or AWS platfroms
• .Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud environments
• .Implement and manage cloud-based deployments
• .Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies and solutions
